I. LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Fine Motor Color Recognition Eye Hand Coordination
Sensory Experiences
II. MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES NEEDED:
Toy Cars Paint-two colors Paper Soapy Water for Clean Up
Container for Paint
III. PREPARATION:
Place paper at each spot where they will be sitting. Have a bowl of warm soapy water so clean up can occur quickly when they are finished. Each child should get their own container of paint and car.
IV. PROCEDURE:
Allow children to roll car in the paint then across the paper.

2. How does your project build on a child/children’s interest and/or developmental needs?
It builds on their motor development, language building, and their cognitive development.
3. Was the project approved in advance by your supervising teacher?
Yes.
4. Were all your materials prepared prior to presenting the project?
Yes.
5. Was your project effectively presented? How could you tell?
Yes if was effectively presented. They were fully involved in the experience, staying focused for a full 10 minutes.
6. Did you convey enthusiasm and interest to the children? If yes, how did you do this? If no, why not?
I showed enthusiasm by talking to them about the materials they were going to working with. I used a positive voice when while they were manipulating the materials.
7. Did the children convey interest and enthusiasm in the project? How could you tell?
Yes they did! They continued with the activity for the longer than I expected and when I let them know it was clean up time they wanted to continue.
8. Was each of your objectives well met?
Yes.
9. Was your project age appropriate?
Yes.

Improve: Provide different vehicles to provide different textures.
