“The Wheels On The Bus”
Gather a small group of children together, start singing and let the children join in whenever they choose. This can be done inside or outside. I would recommend singing the song many times so that children become familiar with the lyrics. I would include this song with a transportation theme, or just for fun.

Playing with wooden buses, scooting across the classroom while riding them
2. How does your project build on a child/children’s interest and/or developmental needs?
It builds literacy with the words in the song. It builds their cognitive development with remembering the lyrics. Motor skills when they repeat the hand movements.
3. Was the project approved in advance by your supervising teacher?
Yes.
4. Were all your materials prepared prior to presenting the project?
Yes.
5. Was your project effectively presented? How could you tell?
Yes, it was effective. The children sang along with me and when the song was finished they asked to sing it again. Especially the parts about the Mama’s on the bus and the babies on the bus.
6. Did you convey enthusiasm and interest to the children? If yes, how did you do this? If no, why not?
Yes, by singing the song with them and making eye contact with each one of them.
7. Did the children convey interest and enthusiasm in the project? How could you tell?
Some children were interested. The ones who enjoyed it either sang along or looked at me while I sang the song.

Yes.
